The UCI Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) in the Henry Samueli School of Engineering is anticipating openings of postdoctoral scholar positions (Levels L0-L3) for the 2025-26 academic year. Seeking qualified candidates with experience in the following biomedical engineering fields: Biomedical photonics/optoelectronics Biomedical nano- and microscale systems/fabrication Biomedical computation/modeling These positions require a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, chemistry, or biology and experience in one or more of the focus research areas listed above. This is an ongoing recruitment and positions are dependent upon availability of extramural funding. Initial appointments are for a two-year period and renewal is based on job performance and availability of support. Note: Total duration of an individual’s postdoctoral service may not exceed five years, including postdoctoral service at other institutions.
