MOLLIE ASPEN is a new, 68-room boutique hotel that occupies a prime location on Paepcke Park in the heart of Aspen, Colorado. Designed by award-winning studio Post Company, MOLLIE's interiors are subtly inspired by the Aspen tradition of being firmly grounded while gazing abroad - a seamless blend of understated luxury and residential comfort.
The hotel's food & beverage programs consist of a lobby bar and restaurant with year-round outdoor seating and a laid-back all-day café. Set atop MOLLIE's top floor is a rooftop pool and terrace that transforms into an intimate lounge by night, with unobstructed views of Aspen Mountain.
Position Summary
We are looking for an energetic individual to join our team as Steward. The Steward’s are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods. Job Responsibilities
Maintain sanitation standards and procedures that comply with health and legal regulations with the advice of the Company. Be able to safely operate all kitchen equipment Oversees the inventory of all Cleaning/Ware washing products. Oversee upkeep of all MOLLIE Aspen areas, including dry goods, walk-ins, bathroom, storage/locker room, and dish pit. Maintain inventory of all plateware, event materials, and kitchenware Oversee weekly deep cleaning. Assist in prep projects as directed by Chef Assist in receiving and rotation of all food. Dispose of all trash, cardboard, etc., as needed throughout the shift, Empty trash cans from all kitchen and service areas throughout the shift Minimizes breakage by handling china and other items with care. Maintains sanitation to Department of Health standards; Keep work area clean and organized. Informs the Chef on Duty immediately of any DOH or OSHA/workplace safety violations. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Excellent guest service and problem-resolution skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure. Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Education And Experience
High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of work experience in hospitality The ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects that weigh 25 pounds or less without aid is required. Assistance will be necessary for objects weighing over 50 pounds. Benefits
