Adams and Associates, Inc. This is an Academic Instructor (Math & ELA) position located in Crystal Springs, MS. The instructor provides instruction and training to students in the Career Education Center, develops individual achievement plans and academic goals to ensure student academic achievement, and collaborates with CTT Instructors to infuse applied academics into CTT curricula. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information and student data. Responsibilities
Provide instruction and training to students in the Career Education Center. Develop individual achievement plans and academic goals to support student academic achievement in the program. Collaborate with CTT Instructors to integrate applied academics into CTT curricula to enhance student learning and success. Maintain confidentiality of student data and comply with all privacy and integrity guidelines. Maintain an organized, conducive classroom environment and hold students accountable for dress code and behavior standards. Deliver high-quality instruction leading to GED/HSD completion and improved literacy and numeracy skills. Provide comprehensive and individualized case management to ensure student progress, achievement, and completion of the Job Corps program. Plan, prioritize, and organize assignments to meet goals and deadlines; apply job knowledge to perform required responsibilities; maintain attendance and productivity standards. Mentor and model Career Success Standards; supervise and manage student populations; take appropriate action to influence student behavior. Communicate effectively with students, staff, and DOL/Company as needed; work in partnership with other departments to ensure effective supervision and services. Adhere to Center policies and procedures and ensure quality programs and services for students. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school required. Master’s degree preferred. Valid in-state teaching certificate or waiver required. Previous teaching or Job Corps experience preferred. Follows integrity guidelines and ensures no manipulation of student data; aims to meet or exceed DOL/Company performance goals. Compliance and Equal Opportunity
