Overview

Marriage and Family Therapist - Folsom State Prison (FSP) role at California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS), located in Represa, CA (Sacramento County). This is a limited term position which may be extended or become permanent. Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders within the context of marriage, couples, and family systems, consistent with applicable Business and Professions Codes and licensure. Refer incarcerated patients to other licensed health care professionals in accordance with standardized procedures. Collaborate with the Sr. Psychologist, Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker I, and mental health team to support rehabilitation and reintegration goals. Minimum Qualifications

Education: Completion of a master’s degree program from an accredited school for Marriage and Family Therapy that meets the requirements of Business and Professional Code 4980.36. Licensure: Possession of a valid License as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Salary/Compensation: This ad includes pay range information provided by CCHCS; actual pay will be based on skills and experience.
