An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HSE Specialist to work in our Just In Time Manufacturing Facility in Voderady, Slovakia. This facility delivers the Complete Seat product serving premium European automotive OEM customer groups
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with corporate and legal requirements in the areas of occupational health and safety and fire protection
Perform duties resulting from all applicable laws and regulations in the field of health and work safety, fire protection area and duties specified in HSE standards
Create and promote a safety culture to achieve an accident-free working environment
Develop documentation according to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
Conducting internal audits according to ISO 14001/ISO 45001
Provide HSE trainings for all employees
Provide support and participate in audits in the field of work safety and fire safety
Perform daily inspections of working conditions and conformity
Participate in health and safety risk assessment
Lead investigation of all accidents/incidents and set effective corrective actions immediately
To be successful in this Role you must have:
Safety Technician Certificate and Fire Safety Technician Certificate
A minimum of 2 years experience working as HSE Specialist in production company (automotive background would be an advantage)
University degree, technical background is an advantage
Knowledge of the ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
Knowledge and experience in conducting internal audits in accordance with relevant ISO standards
Good skills in written and spoken English as well as fluent Slovak language is essential
Can-do attitude, proactivity and ability to work in dynamic environment
Excellent communication skills, effective time management and multitasking capabilities
