Primary Responsibilities
HDR is currently in need of a Water/Wastewater Engineer to work as a member of the Water Business Group in our Cincinnati, Ohio office. The successful candidate will be expected to work as a team member for studies and/or detailed design and construction services for water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and collection/distribution systems. In this role, you will: Create detailed designs of water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and collection/distribution systems. Prepare drawings, write specifications, and analysis and study-level reports for water and wastewater systems; determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection, and cost estimation. Assist the project manager throughout the design and construction phases of projects. Perform other duties as needed. Keywords:

B.S. in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering. At least 5 years of experience. PE license. Experience in evaluating, designing, and developing drawings and specifications for water/wastewater treatment facilities and pump station projects is preferred. Self-motivated, excellent written and verbal communicator, attentive to detail, able to work independently and collaboratively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera preferred. Committed to active participation in our employee-owned culture. Preferred Qualifications
M.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering. Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is a plus. Preference given to local candidates. Why HDR
