As a Lean Master, located in our Lansdale, PA facility, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Business Process Improvement for the Mission Systems Division, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of site-wide lean manufacturing with the goal of establishing linkage and flow, meeting customer demand at the lowest cost with perfect quality. You will lead and mentor leaders and multi-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing practices, analyze and recommend future state value stream design, and identify opportunities to improve existing practices and procedures toward a true north vision. Responsibilities

Provide high-level input in the development of lean manufacturing cells across the site. Mastery of lean concepts is expected (e.g., JIT, takt, flow, pull, standard work, jidoka, DMAIC, A3, strategy deployment, TPM, continuous flow, mistake proofing, waste elimination, 5 Why, heijunka, kanban, kaizen, pacemaker, pitch, replenishment, SWIP, supermarket, standardized work, value stream mapping, visual management, time observations). Design mixed-model cells using SWCS, % load and cell standard work. Lead cross-functional teams to develop and improve business processes across the organization. Coach teams to manage daily performance using visual controls. Mentor through Gemba walks and lead standard work. Coach employees to recognize abnormal conditions and problem-solve systematically. Lead kaizen events to address critical business issues and improve production systems by waste elimination. Travel requirements up to 30%. Qualifications

Minimum

Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field and at least 8 years of experience, including at least 5 years of Lean leadership. Or, a Master's Degree in business or technical field with at least 5 years of experience, including 3 years of Lean leadership. Or, a high school diploma or GED with 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years of Lean leadership. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance and access to technology, materials, software or hardware controlled by US export laws (must be a "US Person" under US export laws or eligible for approval). Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance. Preferred

Bachelor's Degree with 11+ years of experience including 8+ years of Lean leadership, or Master's Degree with 8+ years of experience including 5+ years of Lean leadership. Lean Master, Lean Practitioner, or Master Black Belt Certification. Automotive or electronics manufacturing experience. Familiarity with Toyota Production System (TPS). Computer skills: strong spreadsheet skills; experience with Windows environments; proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to create reports using Power BI; experience with Oracle or similar enterprise systems. Salary Range : Lean Master: $103,218.83 - $154,828.24 (Lansdale, PA) annually. Eligible pay may vary based on location, job function, education and experience.
