Ski/Snowboard Instructor – Certified Base pay range: $20.17/hr - $28.00/hr. Levels are available based on experience: Level 1: $20.17 per hour (plus free lunch) – depending on experience Level 2: $22.50 per hour (plus free lunch) – depending on experience Level 3: $28.00 per hour (plus free lunch) – depending on experience Location: On Mountain, Ski and Snowboard School Employee Type: Hourly, Non-Exempt Job Category: Seasonal full-time, part-time, and holiday-only positions are available Leadership Responsibilities: None Estimated start date: Early December Minimum Age: 18 years old Typical Shift: Starting around 8am-9am and ending around 3pm-4pm depending on business volume Environment: Some indoor duties; most time spent outside on the snow in winter weather Employee Housing: See the employer site for details Employee Benefits: See the employer site for details Required Certs or Licenses: Level 1 certification from an accredited Ski and Snowboard Instructor association Level 2 and Children’s Specialist 1 certification from an accredited Ski and Snowboard Instructor association Level 3 and Children’s Specialist 2 certification from an accredited Ski and Snowboard Instructor association Job Summary: This job summary provides a broad description of duties. You will be expected to carry out all responsibilities and tasks asked of you. Our ski and snowboard school is instructor-centered, serving adults and children with group and private lessons. We hire for all levels of certified and uncertified ski, snowboard, and Nordic instructors as well as Children’s Specialists. Training opportunities are available all season long. We are looking for applicants who can provide exceptional guest service, work well under pressure, follow policies and procedures, work as a team, and foster a positive, fun, and safe work environment. Applicants must be able to provide their own ski equipment.
