Overview
The Department of Clinical Sciences at Georgia Southern University is accepting applications for a pool of part-time faculty to provide instruction for the 2025-2026 academic year. These positions are on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis. Location
Savannah, GA (Armstrong Campus, 11935 Abercorn Street, Savannah, GA 31419). Responsibilities
Provide instruction in undergraduate courses in radiologic sciences. Courses may be in one or more concentration areas including cardiovascular interventional science, diagnostic medical sonography, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, radiography, or diagnostic and therapeutic sciences. For online courses, instructors must be willing to enroll in the online certification program offered by Georgia Southern University if not already certified to teach online. The position is a one semester/minimester appointment. Required Qualifications
Earned Master\u2019s Degree. Licensure, certification and registration in the appropriate field as listed below: For Cardiovascular Interventional Science, active RCIS credential. For Diagnostic Medical Sonography, active ARDMS credential. For Nuclear Medicine, active RT(N) with ARRT or CNMT credential (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board). For Radiation Therapy, active RT(T) credential. For Radiography, active RT(R) credential. Willingness to engage with institutional student success initiatives. Commitment to engaging with best practices in instruction and pedagogy, mentoring, and curriculum design and development. Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral Degree. At least one year of teaching in an academic setting. Proficiency with design and instruction for online courses. Proposed Salary
Commensurate with experience. This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis. Required Documents To Attach
