You’ll be responsible for:
Strategizing with the Risk Manager to develop city-wide safety and injury prevention programs.
Developing city-wide safety policies, including the Injury Illness Prevention Program.
Performing pop-up worksite safety inspections.
Developing, designing, and presenting safety and training programs in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) law or other related industry requirements.
Responding to OSHA complaints and/or violations.
Collaborating with departments to ensure mandatory training is completed in a timely manner.
Monitoring employee driving records through the DMV pull program (A-Check Global) and providing appropriate follow-up to the departments.
Conducting accident investigations and inspecting accident scenes to determine cause, effect, liability, and prevention methods; preparing and reviewing accident reports.
Managing and tracking mandatory trainings in NEOGOV, and Vector Solutions.
Participating in the planning and execution of popular special events for Team RC.

Special Requirement Possession of or ability to obtain an appropriate California driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
