Industrial Equipment Sales Representative

Your role Compensation: Base salary range $60,000 to $75,000, plus monthly commission, annual bonus potential and monthly automobile allowance; potential 1st year earnings - up to $120K. Mission Manage, call on, and sell industrial equipment to customers in assigned territory. Roles and Responsibilities Product Sales - The Sales Manager prospects, sources, and maintains quality customers in assigned area. Achieve or exceed assigned sales goals by developing action plans and schedules to identify specific sales prospects, targets, and/or markets and to project number of contacts to be made. The Sales Representative manages, calls on, and sells products directly to customers in the assigned area and will actively engage in planned prospecting activities to increase the customer base. Follow up on new leads and referrals from field activity; maintain regular contact with existing and new customers (particularly key accounts). Respond promptly to customer inquiries, introduce new products and upgrades, study customer needs, and coordinate customer service. Additional duties of a Sales Manager include: Preparing and presenting quotes, proposals, pricing, credit terms; overseeing customer services through quality checks and follow-up; helping identify and resolve customer concerns; maintaining a professional image; enhancing division and company reputation and brand image; implementing core values of commitment, interaction, and innovation. Obtaining, developing, preparing, delivering, and presenting sales materials, exhibits, and promotional programs when attending exhibits, conferences, meetings, and other local, regional, and national opportunities. Training & Development

- Continuously update job knowledge (products and sales/marketing strategies) by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, networking, and participating in professional organizations. Reporting

- Prepare reports related to activity, lost orders, closings, follow-up, and performance against budget. Reports may include information from field activity, recommendations for product, service, pricing changes, and competitive developments. Perform other duties as assigned. - 5+ years of direct sales experience or customer service experience; industrial equipment sales preferred. Education

- Four-year degree in business or marketing or equivalent work experience. Skills

- Self-directed with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills. Proven business analysis skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Travel required. Valid driver’s license. Travel

- Up to 30-50% local travel, and up to 25-40% overnight travel within the Terre Haute, IN area. Job location Remote: This role is fully remote, traveling within a 1 - 2 hour radius from Terre Haute, IN.
