Assistant Coach - Mens Club Soccer role at

Arizona Christian University . This position will assist the Head Club Soccer Coach in the leadership and management of the men's club soccer team. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of and commitment to the Christian mission and vision of ACU to Transform Culture with Truth, and the ability to advance that mission through mentorship and discipleship. Responsibilities

Spiritual development and discipleship of players on a group and individual level Christ centered leadership and mentorship to recruit, retain, and develop student-athletes Availability to support and facilitate nightly training sessions and games during fall season, 4 nights per week (September-December) Availability to support and facilitate afternoon-evening training sessions and games during the spring season 3 times per week (February-April) Assisting the Head Coach in managing the club team roster in matches & training Support Head Coach in planning and execution of all training sessions Availability to travel to 1-day away games in Arizona and drive a van on occasion Support game day operations and logistics for home and away games Identification, screening, and support of recruiting process for Club Team Head Coach Excellent communication in written and verbal form with commitment to responsiveness Excellent organization and administrative skills Other responsibilities in support of the Men\'s Soccer program as assigned Other Duties and Responsibilities

Comfort and familiarity with the practice of praying with and for others, including students, faculty, and fellow University staff. The ability to meaningfully support and encourage students, faculty, and staff from a biblical worldview perspective, using relevant and applicable references from the Old and New Testaments and orthodox Christian writings. Education and Experience

Bachelor\'s degree High level coaching or playing experience Goalkeeper training / experience strongly preferred Demonstrated connection to the Christian Mission and Core Commitments of the University Working Conditions

General soccer environment Office hours to accomplish administrative tasks Meeting with student-athletes as needed Travel to competition and recruitment as needed Time Required

Standard college soccer calendar for in-season and out-of-season Fair Labor Standards Act This position is considered to be part-time, exempt for overtime pay provisions as provided by the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and any applicable state laws. Seniority level
