Job Description As a Security Professional - Auto Patrol Specialist in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an automotive location, helping to deter security‑related incidents and providing a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle while on patrol. What You’ll Do

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or security‑related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Assist with access control and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site policies.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and activities during each shift.

Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while representing Allied Universal at the location.

Support emergency preparedness and participate in drills or response efforts as directed by site management.

What We’re Looking For

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full‑time roles when available

Minimum Requirements

At least one year of security‑related experience is required.

Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

Experience in loss prevention is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
