A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Two years of related work experience may substitute for the education requirement. Three years of responsible experience in large-scale food service, including food preparation, handling, safety, and sanitation. One year of supervisory experience, including planning and directing staff's daily tasks. Proficiency in cashiering and Microsoft Office applications. Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, and multiplication. Must attend and pass the ASD Serving It Safe food safety class within 21 days of hire. Valid Alaska driver’s license required. Preferred: One year of training experience, school food service experience, and familiarity with POS and inventory systems. Responsible for managing inventories, ordering supplies, maintaining records, cash handling, and timely paperwork submission. Ensure meals are prepared on schedule and monitor food safety standards, including HACCP compliance. Address complaints promptly and communicate with supervisors. Coordinate employee schedules and leave requests. Organize and assign work to kitchen staff, ensuring sanitation and safety regulations are followed. Maintain NSLP compliance and accurate records for free and reduced meals. Report maintenance issues and adhere to district policies. Understand USDA and state meal service guidelines. Make decisions independently in a fast-paced environment. Assign tasks to staff and establish positive working relationships with diverse groups.

Job Summary:

The Mobile Cafeteria Manager II provides on-site training or manages school cafeterias, traveling between locations as needed. Inspects food safety, ensures schedule adherence, and maintains compliance with health standards. Retirement benefits through PERS.

Job Requirements:

Same as above, with emphasis on experience and licensing. Preferred experience includes training, school food service, POS, and inventory systems. Essential Job Functions:

Oversee inventories, meal preparation, monitor safety standards, resolve complaints, coordinate staff schedules, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain positive relationships. Physical / Mental Demands:

Frequent standing, walking, sitting, speaking, hearing, and occasional lifting under 40 lbs. Must handle stress, make decisions, and manage conflicts effectively. Work Environment:

Professional setting with diverse individuals, exposure to outdoor weather, moderate noise levels. Additional Information:
