This role offers an opportunity to work in a premier resort destination in Newport, Rhode Island, delivering exceptional service and creating unforgettable memories for guests.
Pay Range Base pay: $15.00/hr - $15.00/hr.
Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Banquet Captain to join our team! As a Banquet Captain, you will be responsible for ensuring that all banquet events are executed flawlessly and to the highest standards, leading and coordinating our team of banquet servers. Your exceptional communication skills and attention to detail will allow you to work closely with event planners and the culinary team to ensure that every detail is perfect.
Qualifications
One year banquet attendant/server experience
Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of food and beverage service and catering operations
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
Basic computer skills
Valid driver's license, where applicable
