Overview
Associate Researcher I - Pharmacological Sciences at Mount Sinai Morningside. The role combines computational biology and immunology, with a split between omics-based data analysis and wet lab experimental work to support translational research in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities
Perform and analyze wet lab immunology experiments (cell assays, molecular biology, immunophenotyping). Conduct computational analyses of omics datasets (transcriptomics, genomics, proteomics). Collaborate with scientists and clinicians across disciplines. Contribute to study design, data interpretation, and publications. Perform routine and standardized experiments using appropriate research techniques relevant to the project. Analyze and interpret moderately complex results and laboratory data. Maintain laboratory environment and inventory; assist with ordering of supplies. Log and test samples; prepare and submit materials and specimens for shipment. Assist in new and unexpected research experiments and techniques. Assist in collection, analysis and review of experimental data for publication and presentation. Perform other related duties as needed. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Immunology, Mathematics, Bioengineering, or related field. 1 - 2 years of research/laboratory experience. Preferred Skills
Hands-on experience in wet lab techniques. Practical experience in programming for biological problems (R, Python, or C++). Strong initiative, independence, and communication skills. Employer Description

The salary range for the role is $58,661.00 – $77,125.98 annually, depending on experience, education, and operational need. This range does not include bonuses or other forms of compensation or benefits.
