Position Summary Full‑time, 12‑month appointment beginning on or before August 7 2026. May be renewed for an additional two years depending on satisfactory performance.
Responsibilities Postdoctoral Fellow will conduct advanced research in applied algebra with a focus on cryptography, publish scholarly work, collaborate with faculty and students, and contribute to the department’s academic mission.
Qualifications
Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in mathematics, computer science, or a related field. ABD candidates accepted; degree must be conferred before the intended start date.
Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Postdoctoral Fellow.
Preferred: Established record of publications in applied algebra, particularly in cryptography.
