We are expanding and seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator for our Residential Roofing Division. If you are passionate about safety and have experience in construction or roofing safety coordination, we invite you to join our team.
Position Overview The Safety Coordinator will lead safety initiatives, develop safety programs, and promote a safety culture across our roofing operations. Responsibilities include ensuring OSHA compliance, minimizing accidents, and maintaining safety standards. Travel within Texas is required.
Job Responsibilities Develop and maintain safety policies compliant with OSHA and industry standards. Conduct safety audits, site inspections, and equipment checks. Report safety issues, incidents, and safety metrics to management. Maintain first aid and emergency response knowledge, including AEDs, PPE, and safety regulations. Manage safety postings and communication. Oversee Behavioral Based Safety programs and safety committees. Coordinate safety training and incident investigations. Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders. Manage OSHA interactions and investigations. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field. Experience as a Safety Coordinator, preferably in construction or roofing. Knowledge of safety regulations at various government levels. Strong communication and organizational skills. Safety certifications (e.g., CSP, OHST) are a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software. What We Offer
