Location: Statesboro, Georgia Department: The Department of Middle Grades & Secondary Education in the College of Education offers programs in initial and advanced educator preparation to prepare effective middle grades, secondary, and ESOL educators. Job Summary

The Department of Middle Grades & Secondary Education is now accepting applications for a pool of part-time faculty positions to support undergraduate Integrated Sciences courses for the 2024-2025 academic year. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Responsibilities

Teaching undergraduate courses in ISCI 2001 Life/Earth Science or ISCI 2002 Physical Science. Applicants may be asked to teach in various modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, and online). Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines. Required Qualifications

A minimum of a Master’s degree in Science (Biology, Environmental Science, Ecology, Geology for ISCI 2001 or Physics and/or Chemistry for ISCI 2002) or a closely related discipline with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Biology, Environmental Science, Ecology or Geology (ISCI 2001) or Physics and/or Chemistry (ISCI 2002). Preferred Qualifications

A minimum of three years teaching experience in P-12 schools. Classroom instruction experience in higher education. Proposed Salary

Commensurate with experience. This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis. Required Documents To Attach
