The Culinary Supervisor will have a basic understanding of a kitchen operation within the hotel. Responsible for producing a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds guests\' needs in a timely manner. This person has basic skills in department training and is capable of assuming department responsibilities in the absence of the Sous Chef. Skills and knowledge to include culinary education, basic cost control understanding, basic communication, leadership skills and computer skills. They may assist in monitoring payroll costs & overtime. Responsibilities also include the supervising of hourly cooks. Restaurant concept

Ability to effectively communicate and lead a team in a fast-paced environment. 3 years of previous pastry experience leading a team in a high volume culinary operation. Culinary degree or minimum of one year related high volume kitchen experience is required. Candidate should be able to perform basic cooking skills. A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to perform at a high level unsupervised. Must be able to work a flexible schedule; including morning and afternoon shifts with weekend and holiday availability Benefits
