They prepare accurate and detailed case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries, preserve evidence, interact with law enforcement, and testify in criminal and civil court actions. The Asset Protection Specialist reports hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty and carries out job responsibilities in a manner that minimizes the risk of injury to themselves, other associates, vendors, customers, and the Company. They demonstrate integrity at all times, respond to asset protection and operational concerns of all associates, and remain focused on store-specific business objectives while supporting key asset protection and operational responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Identify incidents of theft and fraud and review CCTV and exception reports.
Monitor store physical security and audit Electronic Article Surveillance systems.
Prepare accurate case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries; preserve evidence; interact with law enforcement; testify in criminal and civil actions as required.
