Physical Requirements:

This position requires occasional lifting, pushing or pulling of objects up to 50 pounds, and loading and/or unloading supplies and materials onto carts.

Shift:

Primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., some weekends and evening activities may be required as needed.

Job Summary:

The University of Kentucky Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment is seeking a Senior Extension Associate to join our Family and Consumer Sciences Extension program as an embedded Extension educator at the University of Kentucky Polk Dalton Clinic. This role involves engaging clients in nutrition education programming, establishing strategic partnerships, and conducting program evaluations to ensure effectiveness. The successful candidate will work to enhance community health through targeted nutrition education initiatives. A Registered Dietitian (RD) credential is preferred. This position is soft-funded.

Master’s degree and 3 years of experience preferred.

Registered Dietitian (RD) credential preferred

Driver’s License preferred
