We are looking for an empathetic and motivated
Recovery Coach
to join our team. The Recovery Coach will work one-on-one with individuals and families on their journey to recovery, helping them set goals, navigate challenges, and connect with necessary resources. Through active listening, mentorship, and resource navigation, the Recovery Coach plays a key role in empowering clients to build a fulfilling, substance-free life. What You Will Be Doing To Support Families... Understand and fully support the Recovery Coach Model Provide service in a home-based or community-based setting Provide care coordination, advocacy, parenting skills and support, and recovery coaching to Recoverees enrolled in the program Participate in developing and implementing a parenting group that supports and promotes recovery Work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of program and individuals Maintaining strict confidentiality is a necessity in this position Other duties assigned as necessary to maintain the program operations of the Center Driving is required Benefits Benefits package begins on the first day of employment 35 days paid time off (15 Vacation Days, 12 Holidays including Juneteenth and 8 Sick Days) We Offer Blue Cross and Blue Shield health and dental insurance Eye-Med vision benefits Employer paid life and long-term disability insurance Medical flexible spending account and dependent care account Employee Assistance Program Retirement plan 403(b) (employer match after the first year of employment) Student loan forgiveness assistance Tuition assistance Mileage reimbursement Extensive Training Program Agency-wide trainings (includes CEU’s for obtaining/retaining license – LMHC, LMFT, LADC, CARC, LCSW and LICSW) Supervision for licensure and specializations Immediate access to comprehensive online self-paced CEU trainings Opportunities for Certification in Evidence Based Practices Requirements High School Diploma/GED or above required Bilingual Speakers (Haitian Creole, Spanish, Portuguese, and Cape Verdean Creole) desired and highly encouraged to apply for this role. Lived experience in sustained recovery is required Lived experience in parenting is required Strong people focus and orientation Must attend the DPH-BSAS 5-day Recovery Coach Academy and be pursuing CARC certification Ability to develop trusting relationships Respects and advocates for all paths to recovery Excellent organizational skills (oral and written) and the ability to excel at details, multi-tasking and working under pressure Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize is a position requirement Possess the ability to work in a fast paced environment Bay State Community Services is an equal opportunity employer.
