The NEW Courtyard by Marriott in Lewiston, Idaho, managed by Northwest x Southern Hospitality (NSH), is interviewing for an Executive Chef. We are located in the Pacific Northwest & Alaska with award-winning hotels where hospitality is the core focus. Direct and organize the activities of the Food and Beverage Department and maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service, and merchandising to maximize profits. Plan and direct the administration and planning of the Food and Beverage Department to meet daily operational needs; clearly describe, assign, and delegate responsibility and authority for the operation of sub-departments including room service, restaurants, banquets, kitchens, steward, etc. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent GED; degree in hospitality or a related field preferred. At least 3 years of experience in the hospitality field. Previous experience as a hotel manager, assistant manager, or hotel department manager required. Demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; strong guest-focused mentality; proven customer service experience as a manager. State Food & Alcohol Certification required or ability to obtain one. Advancement & Benefits
