We are looking for a candidate with a "Yes I Can" attitude and hotel experience. Must have a can-do attitude and be able to self-motivate. This position is perfect for someone looking to begin their career in Sales and Marketing. Perform general office duties to support Sales Marketing (e.g., filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, copying). Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, or banquet event orders). Gather materials and assemble information packages (e.g., brochures, promotional materials). Learn and use digital sales systems and conceptual sales processes (i.e. LightSpeed, CI/TY, etc.) and understand the hotel\'s sales strategies (i.e. rates, fees, budgeted goals, etc.). Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information (e.g., commissions, leads, third parties) in software involved in the sales process. Answer guest questions about property facilities/services (e.g., hours of operation, rates and room types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants, special events). Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, communicating with them via phone and email to address questions and requests. Maintain office supplies and space as needed Candidate must be able to: Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests\' service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Rate of Pay:

For applicants working in NYC, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $28.00 per hour. The hourly rate offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors, including years of experience in the job, years of experience in the required industry, education, and other relevant qualifications.
