Job Summary We are seeking a polished and driven

Event Sales Manager

to lead the private dining and events program for an upcoming luxury fine dining destination opening in New York City. Created by an internationally acclaimed design firm in partnership with a global cultural institution, this project represents a new intersection of hospitality, art, design, and cuisine.

This multi-faceted venue will have multiple outlets each designed to offer an experience that is both refined and contemporary. The

Event Sales Manager

will drive sales and oversee event execution across private, semi-private, and hosted experiences, with the opportunity to expand into offsite activations as the program evolves.

This is a role for a

sales-oriented hospitality professional

who combines creativity, attention to detail, and operational precision with an authentic passion for building relationships and delivering world-class experiences.

What you’ll do:

Prospect, secure, and manage private, semi-private, and hosted dining events, as well as full venue buyouts

Serve as the main point of contact for clients from inquiry through event completion, ensuring seamless coordination and flawless execution

Collaborate with culinary, beverage, and service teams to design menus and experiences tailored to each occasion

Develop detailed proposals, budgets, and floor plans that align guest vision with operational flow

Manage contracts, deposits, invoicing, and financial forecasting for all event business

Oversee event logistics including timelines, staffing, and vendor coordination

Represent the venue with professionalism and discretion in all client interactions

Support the growth of the event program, including offsite and partnership opportunities

What we’re looking for:

3–5 years of experience in event sales or catering management within fine dining, luxury hospitality, or lifestyle venues

Proven success in driving event revenue while maintaining brand integrity and client satisfaction

Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a natural ability to connect with clients

Deep understanding of luxury service standards and fine dining operations

Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and contract management

A creative and solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events
