Job Overview As a Technical Sales Representative specializing in drilling, you’ll leverage years of oil and gas business development experience to identify and nurture client relationships, conduct technical demonstrations, and create engaging sales content. Focused on drilling products, you’ll contribute to targeted sales strategies and adapt methodologies based on regional trends. Your role involves proactive industry engagement, collaboration with leadership, and a deep understanding of ROGII products and competitors.
Responsibilities
Identify new potential clients, establish relationships and secure client meetings.
Set up technical demonstrations and help establish engaging sales content.
Track regional market trends to identify targeted sales strategy.
Continually evolve sales methodology to ensure effective sales tactics are used to meet revenue objectives.
Attend industry events, networking opportunities, workshops and deepen ROGII branding in the drilling discipline.
Identify key business needs and devise go-to‑market strategies for drilling products.
Collaborate with leadership team to ensure business strategies are aligned.
Gain in‑depth knowledge of ROGII products and competitors.
Collaborate with marketing to generate exciting content for drilling products.
Maintain CRM system.
Qualifications
3‑5 years of business development experience in oil and gas.
2+ years sales/client relationship management experience focusing on drilling products.
Experience selling both software solutions and services.
Thorough understanding of upstream oil and gas workflows.
