Alternative Investment Hybrid Sales, Mid-Atlantic (External Wholesaler) role within Brookfield Asset Management. Brookfield Oaktree Wealth Solutions delivers alternative investment expertise to private wealth investors in partnership with financial advisors. The business unit supports the financial intermediary community and brings timely solutions to market with the individual investor in mind. Location: Brookfield Place New York, 225 Liberty Street, Suite 3501. The role is based in the New York office. Compensation is based on salary and annual bonus, aligned with performance. The Alternative Investment Hybrid Sales, Mid-Atlantic (External Wholesaler) will be responsible for executing all sales, service, and marketing-related activities in their region. Products include open-end and closed-end alternative investment funds and traditional mutual funds. The Hybrid covers major wirehouses and private banks and directly manages major markets within the region with a client-centric, sales-driven approach. Performance is measured by gross fund flows, sales activity, diversification of flows, expansion of financial advisor relationships, and broader team contribution to the National sales effort. Responsibilities
Develop and execute a regional sales strategy consistent with National sales goals with accountability for the overall performance of the region. Maintain and cultivate existing financial advisor relationships and aggressively expand new financial advisor relationships across the relevant region. Convey deep technical knowledge of the firm’s investment strategies and fund vehicles. Work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Economics, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience wholesaling with significant relationships in the wirehouse space with proven track record of selling different types of alternative investment products, including open-end funds targeting accredited investors and private funds targeting qualified purchaser clients. Proven track record of success. Series 7 and 63. Additional credentials preferred (CFA, CAIA). Travel
