Job Summary
The Department of Economics at the University of Florida, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, non-tenure-accruing Lecturer position beginning August 16, 2026. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Economics by the date of hire. The salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, and the compensation includes a full benefits package. Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and masters courses in econometrics and data analysis. Other course assignments aligned with the candidate’s experience and areas of expertise. Provide informal advising to undergraduate and masters students. Contribute service to the Department, College, and University. Qualifications
Required: Ph.D. in Economics by the date of hire. Preferred: Ph.D. in Economics by the date of hire. Experience teaching masters-level and advanced undergraduate econometrics courses. Application Process
