Under the direction of the middle school principal, plans and provides for appropriate learning experiences for adolescent students. Working with interdisciplinary teams, provides a school culture conducive to the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of adolescents to ensure success for every student. Supervises middle school students in a variety of school-related settings. Communicates and collaborates with middle school students, staff, parents, and community. Develops, selects, and differentiates instructional plans and materials to meet the needs of all middle school students. Maintains appropriate records, follows required procedures and practices, and uses data analysis to monitor student achievement. Monitors appropriate use and care of equipment, materials, and facilities. Physical Demands: As required by the duties and responsibilities of the job. Special Requirements: Required to attend school meetings, programs and activities outside the instructional day as mandated by the MCEA agreement. Job Specific Information
