Reporting to the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs & Faculty Development, as well as the Department Chair, the Academic Support Assistant at the Connell School of Nursing (CSON) is one of three full-time employees that provide administrative support to CSON Faculty, including full-time, part-time, and adjunct clinical faculty as needed. The position performs a wide range of administrative duties to support teaching and research. Responsibilities include providing support for technology platforms (Canvas, ExamSoft, DocuSign, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Google Suite, and BC-specific technologies), preparing materials for coursework, making copies, composing and editing letters, proofreading papers and course materials, scheduling meetings with advisees, and taking minutes at meetings as needed. This position prioritizes multiple tasks in a competing environment. Position Details:

Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred. 2+ years of increasingly responsible administrative experience, preferably in an academic setting. Excellent organizational, written and communications skills, with a commitment to accuracy, multi-tasking and meeting deadlines. Excellent computer skills with a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. PeopleSoft experience a plus. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Closing Statement
