ExxonMobil's state‑of‑the‑art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.

What role you will play in our team The Industrial National Account Sales Executive role identifies and closes new business opportunities to capture earnings and volume growth. Delivering value to our customers and increased earnings to the corporation by building, strengthening and expanding customer relationships through effective marketing offer execution combined with sound commercial judgement.

Work Location: ExxonMobil Headquarter in Houston, TX. Office‑based role with business travel required.

What you will do

Implement sales plan to meet annual P&B and marketing plan objectives and develop broader plans for sector beyond assigned portfolio

Remain fully abreast of/provide insights on market conditions, trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities

Execute Sales processes and pipeline management for own portfolio.

Provide assistance or oversight of pipeline application of assigned sector/region/zone opportunities

Manage credit and pricing consistent with defined offer standards

Support Channel Partners (e.g. Distribution, Retail, Repair Shop, and OEMs) by providing targeted coaching to strategic distributors/sales pipeline coaching and sell‑out support to their staff

Effective and efficient use of internal expertise, e.g. ExxonMobil Field Engineering,Technology or Marketing resources

Incorporate supply chain constraints/strengths in planning

Develop and demonstrate effective coaching and communication techniques to build positive relationships with distributor and customers

Responsible for developing and/or executing sales plan encompassing an assigned portfolio as well as larger scope/sector plans aligned with global strategies

About You Skills and Qualifications:

5yrs+ lubricant, base oil or chemical sales experience

Bachelor degree in Engineering or Business

Office‑based (Houston, TX) with 30%+ traveling

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience:

Industry & Technical Expertise

Deep understanding of industrial lubrication, manufacturing processes, or heavy equipment operations

Experience working with OEMs or major industrial accounts

Proven success in B2B industrial sales, with a track record of exceeding volume and margin targets

Strong grasp of revenue management, pricing strategies, and discount assessments

Ability to identify and capture value through consultative selling and strategic negotiation

Strategic Account Management

Experience managing complex accounts and long sales cycles

Skilled in pipeline development, opportunity progression, and territory planning

Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for account and pipeline management

Sales Excellence & Methodologies

Trained in or familiar with: SPIN Selling/Situational Sales Negotiation/Create Value / Capture Value / Elevate Value frameworks

Ability to coach others on sales techniques and commercial execution

Communication & Influence

Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Strong influencing capabilities across internal teams, distributors, and customer stakeholders

Ability to translate customer insights into actionable strategies

Analytical & Insight Development

Skilled in competitive analysis and market intelligence gathering

Ability to generate actionable insights from customer engagements and data
