Physician Assistant – Colorectal Surgery – Days - Columbia Campus - New grads welcome to apply! Step into a high-achieving hospital, where premier clinicians deliver personalized care. Join our team as a full-time Surgery Physician Assistant and be a part of a comprehensive team covering surgical patients admitted to the hospital. As one of the world's leading medical centers, we are at the cutting edge of new therapies. Every day, we are meeting the needs of patients with extraordinarily diverse problems, performing complex procedures including hybrid, minimally invasive, and robotic procedures. In this role, PAs serve as front line providers rounding with attending surgeons, writing notes, orders, and performing necessary bedside procedures. There are opportunities for first and second assisting in the OR as well. This role requires 4 day shifts per week (6am-4pm), including some weekend coverage (No nights or holidays). Responsibilities
Rounding with attending surgeons as a frontline provider Writing notes and orders; performing bedside procedures Potential to assist in the operating room as a first or second assistant Qualifications
Required Criteria Bachelor's or Master’s in Physician Assistant studies NYS licensure NCCPA certification Preferred Criteria At least 1 year of experience caring for post-surgical patients; strong new graduates will be considered Benefits & Additional Information

Salary Range:
$157,000-$193,000/Annual Salary and benefits packages start with competitive base pay and include recognition for experience, education, and licensure, plus opportunities for personal and professional growth in a dynamic environment.
