in one of our posting locations for
January - August 2026.
In this role, you will work closely with experienced engineers on energy and utility projects.
Posting Locations for this role: St. Louis, MO; Lisle, IL; Frisco, TX Job Activities: Conceptual through final design and record drawings of utility lines and related facilities Field visits to collect data and evaluate existing, pre-design conditions Construction documents and administration Cost estimating Material specifications General project and office support Specific Requirements include: Pursuing a BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum Willing to work full-time during the spring semester and summer from
January - August 2026 Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project Excellent Communication skills Must be willing to travel and have a valid driver’s license MicroStation or AutoCAD experience or exposure is preferred, but not required About Farnsworth Group Farnsworth Group is a 135-year-old engineering, architecture, and surveying firm with over 600 talented professionals across a nationwide network of 24 offices.
