We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on
Electrical Equipment Engineer
to join our operations team in
Troy, OH . To be considered, candidates must live within a commutable distance. In this role, you’ll take charge of troubleshooting, optimizing, and improving production equipment. With at least 3 years of industrial electrical experience, you’ll play a direct role in shaping the reliability, automation, and performance of our manufacturing environment. What You’ll Do Lead electrical troubleshooting
to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability Program, configure, and maintain
PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and automation controls (Allen-Bradley/Siemens preferred) Execute wiring, panel builds, calibration, and system integration
across production equipment Drive root-cause investigations
of electrical failures and implement permanent solutions Partner with operations and maintenance teams
to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient equipment performance Maintain and update
wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation Champion continuous improvement projects
to optimize electrical efficiency and system reliability Enforce compliance
with OSHA, NFPA 70E, NEC, and other electrical safety standards What We’re Looking For Education
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (preferred) Equivalent technical education + proven track record accepted
Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on industrial electrical/automation experience Proven expertise with PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, sensors, and safety circuits Ability to
interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and ladder logic Hands-on experience with industrial networking and communication protocols Strong background in instrumentation and controls, including calibration and signal testing Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors a plus for electromechanical integration Proficiency with CMMS and preventive/predictive maintenance strategies
Diagnose and resolve
complex electrical/automation issues quickly and safely Apply advanced troubleshooting
methods to high-speed production systems Promote safety excellence by applying
