This position troubleshoots and repairs electrical and mechanical equipment throughout the plant.**Responsibilities:*** Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical or mechanical equipment.* Install and maintain hydraulic equipment, pumps, motors, cylinders.* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment.* Change out or set up equipment.* Perform prefabrication related tasks and run machine shop equipment.* Keep all work areas clean.* Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements.* Perform all positions of job rotation as needed.* Perform any other work as assigned by management.**Requirements:*** Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.:

addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).* Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.* Ability and willingness to work on demand in emergency situations.* Able to complete all paperwork CMMS/SAP functions.**Physical Requirements:** The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation* Ability and willingness to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.* Ability and willingness to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level up to 40 pounds frequently.* Ability and willingness to lift with arms up to floor to waist and waist to shoulder up to 40 pounds.* Ability and willingness to use both hands for rapid mental muscular coordination, simultaneously.* Ability and willingness to reach high and low levels, frequently.* Ability and willingness to constantly stand/stoop/walk/bend up to 10 hours.* Ability and willingness to climb stairs.* Ability and willingness to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 10 degrees.**Qualifications:*** Minimum of 6 months of mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months).**LOCATION NOT ACCEPTING REHIRES** **Relocation Assistance Eligible:**No**Work Shift:**2ND SHIFT (United States of America)Hourly Applicants ONLY -You must complete the task after submitting your application to provide additional information to be considered for employment.Tyson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
