The ServiceNow IRM Engineer is responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing Integrated Risk Management modules on the ServiceNow platform. This role supports enterprise-level risk, compliance, and audit initiatives by automating workflows and integrating risk data across multiple systems to enhance operational efficiency and governance.
Job Responsibilities:
Implement and configure ServiceNow IRM modules including:
Policy and Compliance Management
Audit Management
Customize UI elements, forms, fields, lists, dashboards, and portals
Automate workflows using client and server-side scripting (e.g., GlideRecord, GlideForm, GlideAggregate)
Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems like CMDB, SAP, Microsoft Intune for seamless data exchange
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop technical solutions
Conduct peer reviews, unit/integration/UAT testing, and prepare release documentation
Ensure adherence to secure coding standards and ServiceNow best practices
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow IRM and ITSM modules Proficiency with ServiceNow APIs (GlideRecord, GlideForm, GlideAggregate, etc.) Familiarity with GRC frameworks such as SOX, NIST, ISO 27001 Experience in implementing risk and control frameworks Understanding of access control models including RBAC and ACLs Solid knowledge of enterprise GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) processes Preferred Skills:
Effective collaboration and communication skills to interface with cross-functional teams Experience in designing solutions that align with both business goals and technical best practices Certifications:
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – IRM or GRC (Preferred) Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
