Globaltech, Inc. is seeking a motivated Construction Project Manager to join our multidiscipline group of dedicated design-build professionals to round out our engineering service capabilities in the municipal water and wastewater facilities market.
Job Duties
Oversee construction procedures and direct construction projects from conception to completion Read and interpret engineering drawings and equipment specification Create, update, and communicate the project schedule to ensure timely completion. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones Conduct and document quality assurance and safety inspections throughout the construction process. Ensure that the construction project complies with all safety and building regulations Responsible for estimating and procuring materials needed. Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses Manage project budget and prepare monthly pay applications Prepare and review submittals and O&M manuals Monitor and review the work progress daily Coordinate startups, punchouts, and walkthroughs Manage subcontractors Conduct onsite and offsite meetings with owners, engineers, subcontractors Other duties as assigned Requirements
2-5 years of experience in construction management for municipal water and wastewater facilities or related field Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to pass a background check and get clearance to work at government facilities Excellent organizational skills Posses a valid Drivers License and a clean driving record Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Records search Able to pass a pre-hire drug test Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (now or in the future)
