Transmission Line Engineering Manager

in our Power Delivery practice, you will leverage your technical expertise in high voltage transmission line design and construction to lead projects, guide teams, and advise clients. You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the technical success of projects, taking on greater responsibilities as you progress. Your role will include: Managing and executing engineering and design components of transmission projects. Developing project execution plans for the technical aspects. Mentoring and supervising project engineers, designers, and technical staff. Supporting scope, schedule, and budget management, including proposal and risk assessments. Leading QA/QC processes to ensure quality standards. Participating in project reviews and managing multiple projects concurrently. Developing technical expertise and contributing to industry presentations and papers. Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred. PE license is a plus. 10+ years of transmission line engineering experience. Proficiency with PLS-CADD, steel and wood structure analysis, and design. Experience with transmission siting, environmental permitting, and right-of-way acquisition. Strong communication skills and ability to lead diverse teams. Experience with renewables and interconnection projects is advantageous. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
