QA Engineer

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in manual and automation testing to support complex application architectures. The role involves planning, creating, and executing test cases, developing and maintaining front-end and back-end automation frameworks, and ensuring quality through regression, release, and defect lifecycle management. Job Responsibilities: Create detailed test plans and test cases for applications with complex architectures Perform manual and automated regression testing within defined timelines Provide sign-off and comprehensive test execution reports Handle release testing responsibilities and coordination Work with database schemas and querying tools for data validation Conduct defect triage, retesting, and coordination with development teams Utilize test management tools like Qmetry to track test coverage and progress Define and track QA metrics (defect counts, test results, test status, etc.) Ensure defects are logged with complete diagnostic details to expedite resolution Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and maintain a positive team attitude Required Skills:

Manual testing expertise in complex application environments Strong understanding of SDLC and QA best practices Experience with Splunk for log analysis Experience with Qmetry or similar test management tools Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to identify and maintain flaky test cases Capability to write robust, reusable automation scripts Preferred Skills:

Experience working in agile or cross-functional teams Ability to assess and improve test coverage Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines Education:

BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
