The
Engineer II
role requires a versatile engineer capable of working independently on all aspects of process automation engineering and system integration. Responsibilities include conceptual design, specifications, engineering, documentation, project implementation, testing, startup, and training of personnel. You will be a vital member of a diverse team addressing complex automation challenges for our clients. Location:
West Chester, OH, Akron, OH, or Longview, TX Responsibilities include: Leading or contributing to projects involving design, configuration, and testing of control applications. Understanding project scope and financials, managing time efficiently, developing schedules and budgets, and managing change orders. Providing solutions and technical expertise to ensure customer satisfaction. Adapting to flexible work schedules and travel for onsite design, development, and startup activities. Qualifications: 3-5 years of hands-on automation project experience in industry, preferably in Life Sciences. BS in Engineering or equivalent. Strong technical aptitude, detail-oriented, eager to learn new technologies. Knowledge of industry standards such as ISA S88, ISA S95, GAMP 5, cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11. Experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, and database systems, including configuration, troubleshooting, and system startup. Understanding of object-oriented software development and control system network topology. Experience with process instrumentation, control panel design, and onsite support during installation and commissioning. Collaborative team player with a proactive approach. Preferred application knowledge includes: Rockwell Studio5000, RSLogix5000, Wonderware, Ignition, SQL, and Allen Bradley PowerFlex drives. Additional desirable experience: Control systems such as Clean/Steam in Place, Freeze Dryers, Autoclaves, Building Management, and others listed.
