Job Summary The Center for Math Education is seeking student assistants for the Fall 2025 and Winter 2026 terms. The Center for Mathematics Education is dedicated to offering after school mathematical outreach activities in the Dearborn community. Student assistants will help organize and run these after school programs, and serve as mentors in these schools.
What You'll Do Run after school tutoring programs at partner schools that focus on mathematics and other STEM topics.
Responsibilities*
Arrive at schools on time for programs
Coordinate with the Center for Mathematics Education about content
Maintaina strong relationship with the teacher and administrators at the school where the program is run
Work Schedule 4-8 hours a week.
Modes of Work Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.
Additional Information Pay Scale
$20/hour
