Senior Principal Project Management
to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position
is fully on-site
supporting a bi-coastal team, and can be performed out of the following locations:
Palmdale, CA ,
Melbourne, FL , or
Clearfield, UT . This position is seeking a highly motivated, strong communicator to join the Global Supply Chain Program Management (GSCPM) – Integration & Affordability team. Tasks include: Provide dedicated support to GSCPM responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, execution, and integration of all GSC activities within respective Program Business Area.
Act as the GSC focal for the Program Management Office (PMO), coordinate/collaborate cross-functionally with all Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to ensure supply chain commitments are met in support of Prime Contract requirements.
Facilitation of meetings, actions, and deliverables, which often include senior leadership.
Candidate must be able to make sound decisions or ask for guidance in a timely manner, display strong interpersonal skills, and have an agile perspective.
Helps lead and manage GSC team through all proposal efforts, material strategy, and overall successful execution in accordance with Program cost and schedule budgets, Procurement and Subcontract processes/procedures, and Prime Customer requirements.
Develops and manages appropriate mitigation plans to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers and GSC.
Supports all labor CAM responsibilities, including management of Earned Value metrics and Estimates at Complete (EACs) for GSC labor across multiple high dollar contracts.
Ability to manage, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks/projects.
Basic Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience or Master's Degree with 6 years of experience, PhD with 4 years of experience OR High School Diploma with 12 years of experience in the following: Supply Chain Management, Project/Program Management, Operations Management, Business Management, Financial Management, Manufacturing Engineering, and/or Industry related experience.
Must have an
ACTIVE DoD Secret Clearance
with the ability to obtain/maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Experience in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications: Cost, Estimating, CAM (Control Account Management), and/or EVM (Earned Value Management) experience.
Advanced Excel Experience such as Pivot Tables & V Lookup.
Experience with SAP and Problem Solving.
Process mapping and process improvement experience.
Ability to lead through, overcome and adapt to obstacles and challenges; deals effectively with change and challenges while helping others.
Salary Range:
$98,100 - $170,300 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
