Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a Sr. Principal Technical Product Manager to lead efforts in Infrastructure Engineering, focusing on evolving Nike’s Global Technology infrastructure from ideation to deployment and adoption. This role requires a product expert well-versed in cloud computing and networking advancements. Responsibilities include planning, strategizing, communicating, and managing delivery timelines to implement modern cloud infrastructure, networking, and security solutions that maximize business value and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will be a servant leader with technical expertise, capable of creating a clear end-to-end roadmap. They will deliver capabilities through effective communication, teamwork, creativity, strategic thinking, problem-solving, commitment, inclusion, and positivity. Experience in building a culture within a large distributed organization, along with a proven track record of driving change and transformation in cloud networking and edge compute engineering, is essential. The candidate should utilize metrics-driven, KPI-based methodologies and an evidence-based continuous improvement approach to meet business objectives. What You Will Work On
You will translate business strategies into strategic plans, lead initiatives, develop talent, solve problems to ensure successful delivery, and maintain strategic partnerships. You will present vision, strategies, and progress to senior and executive leadership. Collaborating across functions, you will create and deliver capabilities in Retail, Digital, Logistics, Planning, Product, Manufacturing, and Marketing sectors. Ensure innovation, scalability, and security are embedded in the culture. Identify and assess technology trends and articulate recommendations. Collaborate with Engineering to develop a clear vision, outcomes, and a roadmap for future cloud and foundational capabilities, transforming the organization into products and platforms through Self-Service, Automation, Agentic, and AIOps. Who You Will Work With
This role reports to the Sr. Director of Technical Product Management for Cybersecurity, Risk & Compliance, and Infrastructure Engineering. You will partner with engineering leaders and technical product management teams across multiple functions to develop cohesive product strategies and roadmaps, ensuring business goals are met and exceeded. You will deliver value based on a strong understanding of core IT operations, consumer needs, and insights, advocating relentlessly for the needs of Nike’s partners and consumers. What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or a suitable combination of education, experience, and training 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering 5+ years of experience in technical product management in foundational areas Proven success in delivering clear executive-level communications Multi-cloud experience (Azure, AWS, GCP) preferred Experience working across Infrastructure, Networking, Platform, Operations to build core platform products and make “build versus buy” decisions Experience with Cloud Optimizations, Efficiency, and Metrics Use of KPI, Metrics, and Data-Driven approaches to achieve business results Strong technical knowledge of cloud technologies NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that seeks team members to grow with it.
