Job Description – TechnicalProduct Manager, Warehouse Execution Systems (WES)
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager tolead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of our Warehouse Execution Systems (WES) platform. This role willdrive the next generation of automation software that powers our distribution and fulfillment network, including conveyor routing, sortation, order streaming, task orchestration, goods-to-person integration, and robotics enablement . As a Senior PM, you willown highly complex, mission-criticalproducts that directly impact operationalthroughput, customer experience, and cost efficiency. You willwork closely with engineeringleadership, operations, and vendor partners to deliver scalable, reliable, and future-ready solutions. This role requires a technicalproductleader who can fluently engage with engineers on architecture and system design, while also translating operationalneeds into business outcomes for executives. Define and own the
long-term strategy and vision
forWESproducts, ensuring alignment with enterprise supply chain goals. Develop and maintain a clear roadmap, balancing near-term operationalneeds withlong-term innovation. Act as the product evangelist, influencing cross-functionalstakeholders and executiveleadership. Execution & Delivery
Translate high-levelbusiness objectives into
detailed technicalproduct requirements
and user stories. Lead prioritization across competing demands using data-driven frameworks (throughput, cost savings, servicelevels). Partner with engineering to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of features that improve
scalability, resiliency, and efficiency
. Monitor product health in production,leveraging telemetry, analytics, and KPIs to inform continuous improvement. TechnicalCollaboration
Deeply understand the technicallandscape of warehouse automation:WES, WMS, PLCs, robotics, APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms. Contribute to system design discussions, evaluating trade-offs between reliability, performance, and cost. Ensure that architecture decisions align with enterprise standards for
security, integration, and scalability
. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Serve as the bridge between engineering, supply chain operations, and externalvendors. Manage dependencies with upstream (WMS, OMS) and downstream systems. Influence vendor roadmaps and assess build vs. buy opportunities. Continuous Improvement & Innovation
Identify opportunities to optimizelabor, reduce downtime, and increase throughput. Explore AI/GenAI, machinelearning, and advanced analytics to drive next-generationWEScapabilities. Champion a culture of experimentation and iterative improvement. Qualifications
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in IndustrialEngineering,Computer Science,Supply Chain, or related field. 7+ years of product management experience, including atleast 3 years in a senior PM or equivalentleadership role. Strong technicalacumen: comfortable with APIs, microservices, cloud-native architecture, and system integration. Proven track record of delivering complex enterprise software products with measurable business impact. Exceptionalcommunication skills — able to simplify technicalconcepts for executives and inspire confidence across teams. Preferred: Experience in warehouse automation (WES, WMS, WCSs, conveyors,robotics, materialhandling equipment). Familiarity with real-time systems, telemetry, and distributed computing at scale. Exposure to supply chain optimization,logistics technologies, or robotics platforms. MBA or MS in Engineering/Computer Science is a plus. Competencies
