Unlike some EPCs, LPL self-performs the construction of many of the build components of a utility-scale solar plant. Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for overall project management and oversight of large-scale utility solar projects. Assist in tracking budget delivery, scheduling, change orders, and purchase orders. Interact regularly with the Owner, comply with client's needs, and submit regular reporting as required. Maintain relationships between customers and subcontractors. Monitor construction activities, productivities, and create daily/weekly/monthly reports. Administer QA/QC program as work progresses. Assist project manager and O&M team to effectively close out projects. Assist Project Manager and company schedulers to manage and update project schedule. Assist Project Manager to contract and manage subcontractors and vendors for the site. Coordinate with engineering and field team to troubleshoot field challenges. Assist in cost forecasting for projects. Conduct trade pre-construction meetings, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, coordinate permit inspections, and maintain any subcontractor relationships. Assist project engineers with RFIs & submittals. Work closely with the engineering team to develop solutions for any challenges encountered in the field. Manage subcontractors onsite to ensure that the project is on schedule and within budget. Minimum Requirements: Qualified candidates must have an associate degree or equivalent experience. 2-4 years’ experience as an Assistant Project Manager on large-scale utility solar projects or field experience working on site on large-scale utility solar projects. Organized and detail-oriented. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel to different solar projects throughout the United States.
