The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting in the administration of construction projects, supporting the Project Manager in managing the project onsite in California or Nevada. Responsibilities
Perform all Project Engineer responsibilities Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements Prepare billings and expedite payments Estimate, prepare, and negotiate Change Orders Write subcontract Change Orders Set up and maintain the CMiC system Prepare bid packages and evaluate bids Develop project procedures Review plans for completeness and accuracy Prepare Purchase Orders and Rental Agreements Supervise and train Project Engineers and clerical staff Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent experience Understanding of plans and specifications Field experience (Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent) Effective communication and organizational skills 3-4 years of construction experience 1+ years of scheduling and estimating experience Additional Information
