Integratedcooling
Job Purpose/Summary
Support the design and development of ruggedized, low-SWaP RF sensor nodes for distributed counter-UAS (CUAS) applications. This role will lead efforts to integrate wideband RF front ends, optimize power and thermal profiles, and prepare systems for fixed-site deployment. The position is critical to ensuring reliable, cost-effective, and scalable hardware for passive RF detection in mission-critical environments. Duties and Responsibilities
Design and integrate RF front-end electronics and supporting circuitry for passive RF sensing nodes. Develop thermal management solutions for continuous outdoor operation across varied environments. Lead hardware design reviews and ensure compliance with electrical and environmental standards. Collaborate with mechanical and systems engineers to package electronics into ruggedized enclosures. Support testing and validation of node performance in lab and field environments. Create and maintain detailed electrical schematics, BOMs, and layout files. Qualifications
Minimum B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years experience designing RF or embedded electronics Familiarity with wideband RF signal chains, power management, and EMI considerations Familiarity with RF components and interconnects Proficiency with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, KiCAD) Ability to work hands-on with test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, VNAs) Desired Experience in low-SWaP embedded designs and outdoor-deployed systems Knowledge of direction-finding techniques Experience with mixed signal designs Experience with board bring up Familiarity with military or rugged hardware design standards (e.g., MIL-STD-810) Experience integrating SDRs (e.g., Ettus, BladeRF) Active DoD clearance or eligibility Working conditions
Candidates should live within driving distance of the following areas: Wichita, KS; Lawton, OK; or Round Rock, TX. This position is remote with occasional in-person meetings as needed. This position may occasionally require travel (less than 10% time). Physical requirements
No special physical requirements. Direct reports
