We are seeking an experienced and strategic Purchasing Manager to lead procurement and warehouse operations at Control Technologies Inc. (“CTI”). The ideal candidate will manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, ensure timely delivery of materials, and drive cost efficiency without compromising quality. This role plays a vital part in maintaining our supply chain performance and supporting business and field operations. This role requires expertise and close collaboration with all departments to define purchasing requirements and negotiate purchasing agreements. Responsibilities and Duties Negotiate terms, pricing and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings and favorable terms with all vendors and suppliers. Collaborate with engineering, project management and operations teams to ensure procurement aligns with seasonal demand, project specifications and timelines. Monitor and forecast demand for materials and components to support the service and construction departments. Ensure standard operating procedures are in place for inventory control, shipping, receiving and warehouse maintenance. Partner with all departments to set procurement budgets and forecasts. Facilitate meetings with senior leadership to communicate analysis, insights, risks and results. Monitor vendor performance, lead time and quality; manage non-conformance and resolve supply issues. Analyze market trends and assess risk to ensure supply chain resilience. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction within the procurement cycle. Manage a team of warehouse personnel in multiple New England locations. Manage day-to-day purchasing and warehouse activities in all locations. Responsible for conducting warehouse employee performance evaluations. Responsible for establishing appropriate inventory levels and reorder points based on cost effectiveness and business need. Minimum Qualifications College degree or equivalent preferred in Business Administration, Production, Industrial or Logistics Engineering Minimum of five years of leadership experience in a Purchasing environment Experience with project-based purchasing or HVAC Controls related procurement Technical understanding of mechanical/electrical components used in HVAC systems Strong track record in project management, leadership, and execution Strong contract and negotiation experience with the suppliers/vendors Proven ability to empower and inspire engagement Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Well organized and target oriented Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record Salary:
