Full-time with benefits . Team member agrees to float to all hospitals in the market (THH, THM). Must preschedule 36 hours per week with flexible availability as there is no self-scheduling in this role. Responsibilities
Anticipate using for ED holds and opening of additional beds May float to a different area every shift May be asked to float partially in the shift Schedule 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period Schedule one major and one minor holiday per year The Staff RN coordinates the care and service of selected patient populations across the continuum of illness; promotes effective utilization of and monitors health care resources; and provides input and information to the interdisciplinary team via the Charge Nurse to achieve optimal clinical and resource outcomes. Adheres to the goals, philosophy, policies, standards and guidelines of Texas Health Huguley. Contributes to patient evaluations, develops care plans, documents outcomes, and educates patients and families about conditions and care strategies Operates cardiac monitoring equipment to assess and track heart function Benefits

Educates patients and families about health conditions and care strategies Administers treatments, medications, and interventions according to care plans Collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care Develops individualized care plans based on assessment findings Other duties as assigned Provides trach care, including cleaning and maintenance, to ensure airway patency Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care and provide support Operates cardiac monitoring equipment to assess and track heart function Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in the state of Texas, or in a qualifying compact state Required Associate in nursing Required BLS Certification ACLS Certification Education and Experience Preferred
